Synopsis
A young, prodigious shogi player named Rei Kiriyama navigates the immense pressures of his professional career and a strained family life. Seeking solitude, he moves to Tokyo, but his self-neglect and isolation are challenged when he befriends the Kawamoto sisters. These young women, along with their grandfather, offer Rei a sense of belonging and familial warmth he's never known. As Rei grapples with his demanding shogi path, he also learns to connect with others and confront his own emotional struggles, finding solace in the unexpected bond he forms with the sisters.
