Uchuu Kaizoku Captain Herlock
宇宙海賊・キャプテンハーロック
Synopsis
In the year 2977, humanity languishes in apathy, with robots handling all labor and government officials preoccupied with leisure. Defying this complacency, Captain Herlock and his crew embrace a life of adventure aboard the spaceship Arcadia. As a mysterious alien force, the Mazone, infiltrates Earth disguised as enigmatic women, they eliminate anyone who uncovers their sinister plot. Tadashi Daiba, whose father was killed by the Mazone after his warnings were dismissed, joins Herlock's band of outlaws. Together, they embark on a perilous mission to protect humankind from this encroaching extraterrestrial danger.
