Synopsis
One year after his departure, Shinpachi Shimura returns to Edo to find his friends and the entire city transformed beyond recognition. His sister is married to a notorious stalker, and familiar faces have adopted bizarre new personalities and appearances. Confused and disoriented, Shinpachi joins the Shinsengumi in hopes of restoring normalcy. Teaming up with an unchanged Hijikata, he embarks on a quest to reverse the strange alterations plaguing Edo, encountering more absurd humor and parodies along the way.
