Soon after, unknown assailants plant a seed at the crash site, which rapidly grows into a colossal tree, devastating the surrounding areas. King Kai warns Goku of the Shinseiju, a parasitic tree that drains planets of their life force to cultivate a powerful fruit. Goku and his allies race against time to stop the tree before it completely destroys the planet, facing a challenge far greater than they anticipated.
