Synopsis

Maria "Mimi" Annovazzi, trained from birth to lead her family's duchy, finds her destiny altered by her brother's birth. No longer the heir, she seeks a suitable marriage, but the best prospects are gone. Mimi travels to a neighboring country and enrolls in the royal academy, hoping to find a husband. Her best friend, Aida Amethis, assists her. The journey takes a turn when Crown Prince Renato di Rubini mistakenly believes Mimi is Aida and breaks off their supposed engagement, intending to free Aida for her true love. After the confusion is resolved, Mimi, concerned about her tarnished reputation, asks Renato for help finding a suitor. Unbeknownst to her, Renato himself is increasingly drawn to Mimi's cheerful demeanor and combat skills, recognizing her as the kingdom's most eligible match.
