Sanda

Synopsis

In a future Japan where children are scarce and cherished, Christmas is a forgotten holiday. At Daikoku Welfare Academy, a boarding school for these precious youths, the legend of Santa Claus is unknown to the students but feared by the authorities, who deploy the Saint Nick Pursuit Unit to neutralize any sign of his existence. Shiori Fuyumura, a student at the academy, believes her missing best friend, Ichie Ono, can be found by awakening the dormant Santa Claus within Kazushige Sanda, her classmate. Convinced Sanda is a descendant of the mythical figure, Fuyumura resorts to extreme measures to force his true nature to emerge, hoping to fulfill her wish.
