Fumoon

Synopsis

A remote island becomes the unlikely cradle for a miniature, intelligent humanoid species, the Fumoon, whose rapid evolution is triggered by nuclear tests. When their existence is revealed by Dr. Yamadano, he faces disbelief from most, save for a few like detective Shinsaku Ban and the siblings Rock and Kenichi, along with Kenichi's sister Pichi. The Fumoon are gathering Earth's fauna to escape the planet aboard their spacecraft, foreseeing an imminent global annihilation by a cosmic gas cloud. Despite their plan to leave humanity behind, one Fumoon, Rokoko, forms a bond with Kenichi and endeavors to aid Dr. Yamadano and others in constructing an escape vessel. With assistance from Dr. Ochanomizu and Dr. Frankenstein, they race against time to save a select group of humans from the impending destruction.
