Fushigi na Melmo

Synopsis

Following a devastating car accident that claimed her mother, nine-year-old Melmo is thrust into the role of caregiver for her two younger siblings. Witnessing their plight from above, their mother's spirit intervenes, bestowing upon Melmo a magical jar of candies. These confections grant her the extraordinary ability to alter her age by a decade in either direction and transform into any animal. Melmo embraces these powers, frequently adopting the guise of a nineteen-year-old woman to manage her family responsibilities while navigating the complexities of a regular childhood.
