Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan
るろうに剣心 -明治剣客浪漫譚-
Synopsis
During the tumultuous Bakumatsu period, a fearsome assassin known as Hitokiri Battousai dominated the land with his unparalleled skill. He vanished at the height of the revolution, leaving behind a decade of peace. However, his name still evokes dread. Unbeknownst to many, Battousai has renounced his violent past, now living as Kenshin Himura, a kindhearted wanderer committed to protecting the innocent. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Kaoru Kamiya at her dojo, which is under threat from someone impersonating Battousai. Kenshin aids Kaoru and decides to stay, but his past soon catches up. As old and new adversaries surface, Kenshin must confront the challenge of maintaining his vow never to kill again while defending those who need him.
