Gene Diver
ジーンダイバー
Synopsis
This anime blends live-action footage with animation, continuing a virtual series. It follows Yui, a Gene Diver tasked with collecting DNA from extinct creatures within a recreated ancient world. However, an unexpected system malfunction during a maintenance cycle traps her in a different virtual reality. In this new present, an advanced rodent-like species, the puglaistig, has emerged. Perceiving humanity as a danger, they actively seek to halt human progress.
