Kakuza Tousan
かくざ父さん
Synopsis
This stop-motion comedy follows Kakuza, a doting father from the Meiji era, as he navigates the emotional turmoil of his 37-year-old daughter Touko's impending marriage. Despite his late wife's wish for Touko's happiness, Kakuza struggles to grant his daughter's fiancé his blessing, fearing he will lose her. The series, originally titled 'Sugar Cube People,' later became known as 'Kakugen! Kakuza Tousan' due to its inconsistent release.
