Synopsis

Experience the supernatural world of Gegege no Kitarou in this immersive VR/3D film series. Created by Toei Animation and Dynapix to celebrate the franchise's 50th anniversary, these films transport viewers into the realm of yokai. The first installment uses the mystical okuribi bonfires as a gateway to this spirit world, while the second sees you guided by Medama Oyaji on a quest to return home. Originally showcased at festivals, these cinematic adventures are now available in select VR-equipped theaters and will be accessible for home VR devices in autumn 2019.
