Momoya Norihei Anime CMs

Synopsis

Beginning in 1958, Japan's burgeoning public television landscape featured a unique blend of animation and live-action in commercials for Momoya food products. These advertisements, spearheaded by actor and comedian Noriko Tanuma, showcased a caricature of his persona, "Norihei Miki." The commercials, known for their clever wordplay and parodies, achieved significant popularity, even extending into print media. Over fifty years, these ads introduced more than 300 characters, though a select group of seven remained the most consistent presences.
