Baki

Synopsis

Having conquered an intense underground competition, Baki Hanma remains focused on his ultimate goal: confronting his father, Yuujirou, the world's most formidable fighter. His quest for dominance is interrupted by a summons from the tournament organizer, Tokugawa Mitsunari. He informs Baki that five notorious death row inmates, each a master of martial arts, have escaped and are converging on Tokyo, eager to experience defeat. Tokugawa cautions Baki that his renown makes him a likely target for these escaped convicts, who are also seeking worthy opponents. This narrative adapts the initial arc of the second manga, depicting a fierce conflict between Japan's elite martial artists and the dangerous figures of the underground fighting scene.
