Shigofumi

Synopsis

Shigofumi are letters from the deceased, penned by those with powerful emotions like love, longing, or resentment. These messages are delivered to the living by Fumika, a silent and enigmatic carrier, accompanied by her talking staff, Kanaka. Their mission is to ensure every shigofumi reaches its recipient, regardless of whether they are prepared for the revelations. Through this work, Fumika observes the sorrows and hidden truths of both the living and the dead, while her own past remains a mystery.
