Shinseiki Evangelion

Synopsis

In a post-apocalyptic world reeling from a devastating event, humanity faces annihilation by colossal extraterrestrial entities. Their advanced weaponry proves useless against these invaders, leaving a clandestine organization called NERV as the last line of defense. NERV deploys colossal biomechanical mechs, piloted by select teenagers, to confront the otherworldly menace. Among these pilots is Shinji Ikari, a withdrawn adolescent burdened by parental abandonment and past trauma. His life takes a dramatic turn when he's thrust into piloting a powerful mech, forcing him to confront his deepest fears and his father's hidden agenda while defending the last vestiges of civilization.
