Etotama

Synopsis

Once every six decades, a celestial ceremony selects animal spirits to join the Chinese zodiac. For two millennia, the original chosen few have held their positions unchallenged. Nyaa-tan, a cat spirit, strives to become a zodiac member by collecting twelve seals. This quest demands she win battles using divine energy derived from positive human emotions. Her limited powers necessitate a potent energy source, which she finds in Takeru Amato, a new human resident whose emotions generate exceptionally strong energy. Their partnership begins as Takeru aids Nyaa-tan's ambition, leading him to encounter the existing zodiac members and unravel a hidden history.
