Synopsis
A shy college student seeks belonging and discovers Genshiken, a club celebrating otaku culture. Initially resistant to his own interests, he gradually embraces his otaku identity through shared passions for anime, manga, and conventions. He navigates friendships and the unique dynamics of the group, including a relationship where one partner tries to steer the other away from their beloved hobbies.
