Synopsis

Tokyo faces a terrifying invasion by ghouls, monstrous beings indistinguishable from humans. Ken Kaneki, a quiet student, finds his life irrevocably altered after a date with the alluring Rize Kamishiro. A violent encounter reveals Rize's true predatory nature, and Kaneki barely survives, only to awaken with Rize's organs transplanted into him. This transformation turns him into a human-ghoul hybrid, forcing him into a brutal conflict between his kind and the agents tasked with eradicating them, all while he desperately tries to hold onto his fading humanity.
