Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken (TV)
ドラゴンクエスト・ダイの大冒険
Synopsis
Following the demon lord Hadlar's demise, monsters found refuge on Delmurin Island. Dai, the sole human inhabitant, dreams of heroism, inspired by his monster guardian, Brass. His aspirations are tested when Hadlar's return forces the hero Avan to train Dai. Hadlar, now serving a greater evil, confronts Avan, who sacrifices himself in a failed attempt to defeat the demon. Dai and Avan's other student, Pop, face imminent danger, but a mysterious mark on Dai's forehead unlocks latent powers, allowing him to repel Hadlar. The two disciples embark on a quest to honor Avan's memory and restore peace to their world.
