Synopsis

A boy named Tetsuro Daiba, orphaned by a meteor strike, encounters a mysterious woman named Mello. He awakens on a spaceship, discovering latent piloting skills from his DNA. Aided by a doctor friend, Tetsuro seeks to combat the occupying forces. He soon meets Rei Yuuki, another survivor with extraordinary abilities, who also possesses powers sought by the enemy. Both seem linked to the meteor event. Their quest for a third survivor leads them to Queen Photon, ruler of the occupying regime, who claims to be protecting Earth from the meteor's senders. Unsure whom to trust, Tetsuro and Rei, with the help of a telepathic cat, escape the Queen's clutches. Mello reappears, clarifying the situation and presenting them with a choice: remain on a struggling planet or venture into the vastness of space.
