Shaman King
シャーマンキング
Synopsis
Tokyo becomes the stage for the Shaman Fight, a once-in-a-millennium tournament where powerful shamans battle for the title of Shaman King. This ultimate victor gains control of the Great Spirit, granting them the ability to reshape reality. Ordinary student Manta Oyamada stumbles into this hidden world when he befriends the laid-back shaman Yoh Asakura and his samurai ghost, Amidamaru. After Manta is targeted by a local gang, Yoh, with Amidamaru's aid, retaliates. Manta soon learns that his new friend is a contender in the Shaman Fight, a competition with world-altering stakes.
