Uchuu Koukyoushi Maetel: Ginga Tetsudou 999 Gaiden
宇宙交響詩メーテル ～銀河鉄道999外伝～
Synopsis
Maetel flees her dying, icy homeworld, La Metal, where survival necessitates cybernetic augmentation. Recalled home, she faces a stark choice: embrace her mother's robotic destiny and human scorn, or rebel against the machines alongside humanity. Aided by metallic allies who seek peace, Maetel can forge her own way by challenging the notion that flesh defines humanity and by uniting with those who value true sentience over biological origin.
