Dororo Pilot

Synopsis

This pilot film for "Dororo" presents characters more aligned with the original narrative than the subsequent television series. While the TV adaptation's character designs were sometimes altered for audience appeal, this initial color production showcases the core story. It follows Dororo, a young rogue, and Hyakkimaru, a man cursed to hunt down 48 demons to regain his humanity. Together, they embark on a quest to vanquish monsters, with Hyakkimaru striving to become fully human.
