Kidou Senshi Gundam I

Synopsis

In a future where Earth's burgeoning population has led to the creation of vast orbital colonies, tensions escalate as the elite on Earth push the majority into space. This oppression ignites a war for independence when Side 3, a colony cluster, declares itself the Principality of Zeon. Utilizing advanced humanoid robots known as mobile suits, Zeon gains a significant advantage over the Earth Federation. A pivotal moment occurs when Zeon ace pilot Char Aznable discovers the Federation's prototype mobile suit, Gundam, on colony Side 7. Amuro Ray, the Gundam's creator's son, pilots the machine to repel the attack, inadvertently drawing him into a fierce conflict with Char and forcing him to escape aboard a Federation vessel.
