Aquarion Evol

Synopsis

In a distant future, humanity resides on the planet Vega, perpetually under siege by interdimensional entities known as Abductors from the neighboring star Altair. To defend against these invaders, the Neo-DEAVA organization deploys specialized mechs called Aquaria, piloted by gender-segregated forces. The established order is disrupted when a powerful Abductor mech appears, drawing two young individuals, Mikono and Amata, into the escalating conflict. Amata inadvertently breaks a fundamental rule by piloting an Aquaria and initiating a forbidden union between male and female units. This unprecedented event raises questions about his abilities and the mysterious connection he shares with Mikono, who also demonstrates an aptitude for piloting the mechs.
